Modern Day Pirates: Video from History.Com - think pirates were only historical figures? Not so! Pirates are alive and operating today. Watch this video about an actual pirate attack.
Famous Pirates & Pirate History - A great place to whet your appetite for learning about pirates, BUT be aware that this is a personal wiki and that the articles found on this site need to be corroborated with other sources.
The Pirate's Realm - Again, another great resource and good place to start, but many of these articles do not have authors' names included, so be sure to double-check the facts with another source.
